Ok... I'm not looking to be ridiculed or have people talkin ish... I really jus need help. I just got 2 kicker comp r's 12". I have had a lot of different subs, but never any like this. I can't seem to find much layman info on them. The owners manual is like frenchaneese to me. So the subs say they are 2 ohm . They have a switch that says 1 or 4. So does this make them a 4 or 1 ohm sub when switched. Does anyone have any diagrams on wiring them in both parallel and series? This is what I'm really after. I just want to know how to come out to a 2 ohm amp with these subs if you can tell me that you will be amazing!

Thank in advance

raider

Just like macsdad said. Set the switch on each sub to 4 ohms. Wire them in parallel to the amp like this drawing and they will present a 2 ohm load to the amp:
