Help please!

Ok I don't really know where to start. But I did a big 3 on my truck and it done fine for about two weeks, with no amp hooked up. Then I hooked my amp up and it did good for about 30 mins. And now my voltage meter (stock one in the dash) raises when I am slamming it really hard and when it gets up so high my amp cuts off. And it keeps blowing fuses. Any idea what it is?

 
ya i think you mean down bro and it could be you need a cap i would go with 5 farit or higher

Explain what formula or theory you used to determine that a short could raise the system voltage. Next, the term is "farad".

TO OP: The only possibility I can think of is a bad regulator in your alternator.

Only thing I can think of, but I'm not sure. Definitely curious as to what the problem is.

 
check your wires and if there fine try a dif amp
This is what I am thinking. Because it did fine with the last amp I had. But nothing else has changed. And I checked all of my connections. And my wires have only been ran for a week but I will check them.

I thought this too, but when everything is off, I does fine and says at 14.4 volts.
