Help please..W12GTi MKII, Ti12D Elite, or something else

Hey I am looking to put together a new system and I am starting from scatch. I was looking at W12GTi MKII, Ti12D Elite, FI's, JL Audio and a bunch of other subwoofers, and I am looking for suggestions and would like to hear all and any. Currently I am driving a 2002 Sebring Sedan (4 door). I will not have this car forever so that is not that important in the decision but I will have it for a while.

I listen to alll types of music: rock, country, rap, techno, punk, whatever. I am looking for some subs that will really bump(SPL), but I want something that is not too insane for every day driving. Sound Quality is VERY important to me.

I am looking for two 12's I guess, but I am open to other suggestions for sure. I will spend around 300 dollars a woofer, or maybe a little more and I wouldnt mind spending a little less.

I also need an amp or amps that will power the sub(s) you recommend. I will not spend more then 1500(very high end) total for the amp and the subs... 1500 is an absolute high end and I said that much for more suggestions and I would really like to spend less then that so I can put it towards a box, wiring, and whatever else I might need.

And then with the subs and the amp you suggest what type and size box should I put them in.

Pair of SSD's/Q's. SSD's get plenty loud for a DD and dont sound bad at all.

and with your budget you can get a very nice amp, somewhere around 2kwrms and have enough for a extra batt.

2x 12 inch Image Dynamics IDMAX v.3 in a ported box. Should be enough SPL and SQ for you and you could find them used for around 300.

i have a nice option for you.

I suggest two idmax 12's i currently have 1 and it is really really nice in my 94 camry in a ported box 2.7 cu ft. @ 28hz with 36 sq in. of port area.

however i think im going to go with a little less output but the sq is still there.

amp wise you have lots of options.

but id say since ur looking into w12gti's and ti12d elites and other 1000 watt + sq / spl drivers id check out the idmax.

Im not sure whether or not ill be selling since i just got it and it been used for less than a week but i think it just a tad bit to much output and the box is rather large.

ill send u a pm and see if ur intrested in the price for my lnib driver

search reviews of the idmax and ull be pleasantly surprised.

the jbl gti's are actually very nice subs. Can get plenty loud and sound great doing it.

For the price the elites are going for right now, that would be a very nice pic, but I hope you have 1500 or so on tap. They like a ton of power.

The JBL subs are amazing from what I have heard, loud with great SQ. My suggestion would be 2 SI Mags, the new ones sealed will only need 2 cu ft and will **** anything else listed in this thread in SQ and will have a better bottom end, but they will not be quite as loud.
