First of all, snfsh79077, thank you for all your help in my previous thread.
I was basically looking to add a large amount of bass. SQ is great but to me the fun is in the bass. So I was hoping to put a bandpass or ported box in the next vehicle but It doesn't look like that is really possible at this point.
I've found a box that will allow me to fold my seats down in the new Sport Trac: http://www.soundoffaudio.com/item.cfm/id/2694
I've also found these boxes: http://musicmooseaudio.com/ford_explorer_sport_trac_fest.html

I was going to just fold my back seats down and put in a larger ported enclosure but, the more I think about it the more I'd rather have my seats usable at any given time. Of course I could just pull the ported box out and toss it in the bed when I needed a seat section.
I don't think I will be able to fit any type of ported box in there so I'm content with another set of sealed boxes. My last vehicle had two very small sub enclosures loaded with the subs in my sig.
My questions:
What if I got both the enclosures above and loaded them with the same size, make and model subwoofers? One running two behind the seat and one running a single sub below the seat. Would this be worth losing the ability to fold down the passenger side of my back seat?
Would that sound ok?
Should I run 8" or 10" subs? Think I can fit my 12" JBL subs in there? Wonder if it would sound as good.
Is it better to run all the same size subs?
Should I get a larger amp to power all 3 subs or should I just get a second amp to power one sub?
Any thoughts you can offer would be great.
