Help picking subs for Scion Tc

Hello I'm really new to car audio and haven't really had a loud system in the past so i'm trying to figure out what to go with.

I've been looking at many brands and subs and the ones that i have in mind are:

Audioque: HDC3, Iincriminator Audio Death Row Series, Cadence Zrs, DC Audio lvl 4, and JL Audio (2xw6 or 1xw7)

Any input on which of these would be the best choice? I'm looking for sql as well as loudness. Any suggestions on amps?

Budget really isn't an issue. Thanks for your advice.

all great subs except the jl for the money, w6 not that loud of a sub but sounds good but for the pric emuch better out there.

some other subs you might want to look at are

guy hand builds all of his boxes and they sound great

and that mach 5 is designed for sealed boxs and for the price you cant beat it

for an amp you cant beat the price of an audioque 2200d for 389 shipped new

if you want to go lower in price the other amp id recomend is the mb quart 2000.1

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm having trouble deciding on two twelves, a fifteen, or one w7 that I can get for 4 bills in new condition. Is the Mach 5 as loud as the others? Nice link for box. If that amp can push whatever I decide I wouldnt mind the price. Is jl as good as its hyped up to be, price not being an issue?

4 bills for just subs, the mach 5 would be the best price exp if your going sealed with say that custom box, go with 2 12's as your car is not that bix and one 15 would restrict airflor without facing upwards, the mach 5 will be just as loud as the others, what type of amp are you running how much you have 4 an amp, and much better 15 inch subs for 400 dollars then a used w7, jl is all hype and marketing, there good subs dont get me wrong but for the price you pay there are better subs

Max I'd like to spend is like 1k-1.2k. I spoke to someone from aq about the amps and he had suggested even going down to the 1200 series and it'd push 12s nicely. Those run like 130+25 per I believe. He said I'd need another battery for the 2200. how is Mach compared to aq? Ive decided to get two twelves and one of the aq amps, now just deciding on box/subs. As far as ohms/coil would I go 1 or 2 ohm with the aq amp?. Would it be best to get two amps?

I'm almost certain on going with the AQ HDC3's and an AQ 1200D. I'd be going with 2 12's. Does anyone think 3 10s would be better? or have any last comments to change my mind with a louder/better system?

1200D isnt enough power for HDC3s. The 2200D is much better match. I had the 3500D on my 2 HDC3s. These take 1000rms each easy. Even 1500rms each.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Is space not a concern? The 2 12"s will need around a 4-5 cubic foot box.

3 10s would be louder but more expensive and your going to need more amp.

You need to upgrade your electrical with the 2200D or 3500 amps.
