Help picking sub woofer for 2015 Camaro

I Had 2 Rockford p2 10 inch subs running on a 1200w Hifonics amp in the trunk, but they took up too much trunk space for my liking and they didn't hit quite as hard as I would like either. Is there any way that i could get something like a single 12 that would outperform the 2 10s i had?

and if so any suggestions?

I am still kinda new to all of this so please tell me if theirs anything i left out.

Yes, a single 12 or honestly 2 nice 8s would do it in a quality box

pretty sure i saw ported box for camaro recently thats what u need, 1 12 or 10 ported be great in a hatch..
