Im LOOKING FOR SOME NEWSUBS 2 12's SINCE I BLEW mine , friends say I SHOULD GO WITH JL AUDIO W3'S WHAT ELSE COMPETES WITH THE W3'S? I WILL BE RUNNING THEM OFF OF A Clif designs 1,500 watt amp which does 1,000 watts rms at 1 ohm mono supposibly , thanks

Everyones friends say "you should get JL's"..if people relied more on thier preference rather than the JL hype JL would only sell amps

Take a listen to other subs.whats your budget?.what is your preference..SQ or SPL?

don't get me wrong JL is a great Sub Maker..but the theory that JL is OVERHYPED is definitely reality....

Do what EVERYONE has been doing lately..Buy some other nice subs..show your friend how they sound and then he will post a review somewhere like everyone else is doing these days talking about "how they heard subs that are better than JL's"

P.S. Trixter I can tell it was an accident..becuase in your Title the first letter is smaller case...classic scenario of Caps Lock being on without you knowing it...it happens to us Cap Experts all the time!!

hmm how about a pair of RE Audio SX 12's ?? sound they would go great with ur amp, and will blow away thoese jl w3's no problem ! I have a pair brand new never used still in the box, 400 shipped for he pair..

That would be a good deal... if his amp did somewhere around 2000 watts instead of 1000. If it were me, I would go with an RE SX in a SS(snailshell) enclosure. An SS enclosure will give you great SQ while boosting the SPL in all frequencies. If you need a design for a SS enclosure, IM me at gravycakes88 or PM me and I will give you a design for cheap.
