Help picking out a battery

I got a 97 F150 4.6L

Was just about to order a Optima D34 battery for $200, but thought there might be something else out there that is better and cheaper.

I will only have this one battery, under the hood for now. Will add another one in the back of the cab of the truck later when I add another sub. There's a h\o alt in there too.

So, should I stick with the Optima under the hood for now, and add a kinetik in the back later, or is there something that will work better?

if you are running under 4k i would go with a d3100.. spendy but really they are as good as 2 of someof the cheaper ones

Go to a kintec's site, they have a deal that you can out in total rms and it will suggest a battery.... But what out side said we need to know what power

will be 1200w for now

but will be around 3000w when i get everything in in a few months

think a xs d3100 is overkill...?...350-400 bucks too... eh...

Youll be just fine stock with 1200... but unless you upgrade the front batt ya you will probably need about a D3100 Id bet

kinetiks site told me to put KHC1400 under the hood, and two KHC1800s in the back... f that

what i'm trying to do is replace the battery under my hood for now, i'll worry about the battery for the back later, the battery under my hood is going now anyways, been in there for awhile...

Id do the 1400 under the hood now since itll only be 1200... then when you get up to the 3000 rms range do a 2400 or a little bigger in the back since youll have a good front batt

the KHC1400 is the same price as a Optima D34, would the kinetik be better?

check ur pms i got u a battery better than both ur other options. its equal to a kinetik 2000
