Help picking equitment

So I want to get my first aftermarket audio system. Ive decided for my subs I am going to get 2 Sundown audio SA-12's. I have heard great things about them and they are affordable. I'm thinking about getting the 4 ohm. For my amp I am looking at the Massive Audio N4, its 2000 watts but from what I have read the SA-12's are extremely underrated for what they can take and really do not get going tell 1000 watts a piece. I'm not sure about speakers or a head unit and was hoping you could give me some suggestions on those. But my questions are would the N4 be enough to power all of those things? If not then how much more power do I need for the head unit and the speakers? Would I wire the amp to the subs at 1 Ohm with 1000 watts RMS a piece or is that to much?

Thanks

alpine cda-117 is a solid deck and i love my memphis mclass components, also likethe image dynamics ctx comps, as well as he re xxx set. a nice 75-125w a channel amp will set your highs up good the massive nx4 would do good. and from what i understand massives lower line components are also good for the price. the n4 will do fine on the sundowns just set the gains right andput them in a proper box. should wang

thanks for the quick reply. I looked at the alpine cda-117 and it looks really good. I just glanced over it as I am about to call it a night but it looks great. All of those speakers look good as well and I will probably be buying one of those. You might of just answered this question and I did not read it right but will the massive n4 be able to power the comps, subs and the head unit or will I need an additional amp to power the head unit and speakers? If so is there another amp that could power them all or an additional amp you would recommend solely for the comps and the head unit.

Thanks

the n4 can only power the subs as it is a mono amp. the headunit will be powered but the factory wiring provided u use the specific car harness adapter. if u use factory wiring you can run the components without an additional amplifier but with an additional amplifier they would get quite a bit louder and more tha likely sound better at the desired listening volume. i like to personally run my components active on a four channel amp where i can adjust the frequency range they play to accept more power which in turn allows them to ply louder,an in addition i use individual channels on the amp to time align the tweeters and mids individually.

the cda-117 allows u to time align front rear and subs ad by running the tweeters on the front mids on the rear i can time align my front stage properly. this deck also has a 7 band eq both parametric and graphic switchable by internal setting.
