help picking an amp

I have a JL 10w7 and I need an amp for it. I would like to get the JL 500/1 but don't have the money for that right now. Looking to spend under $300 for the amp right now. What would be a good amp for this sub? Looking for anything that will put out 500rms to 700rms at 3ohms.

what about this amp? Phoenix Gold Octane-R 15.0:1

or HiFonics Brutus BX1500D

for those that don't know the JL 10w7 is a 3ohm sub.

My friend maybe willing to sell his JL 500/1 after Turkey Day, probably go for pretty low too since he needs to buy christmas gifts.

Take a look at these.....a couple are over $300 but if you can come up with an extra $100 bucks you have a lot more choices. The 1500d will work well for under $300.

That would work fine, it is big 18 inches long but if you have the room then no worries.
