help picking a new amp

i have directed 1500d i want to try something new i have used directed products for years i was looking at a hifonics hercules -xx i seen alot of people on this forum have hifonics amps i here alot about the brutus line some good some bad so should i stick with directed or give the hifonics hercules a try i just want to to push a L7 15 or a L5 15 SLOTED not in to comps just showing off to some friends

Anything DEI is solid...I would stay with directed

stay away from the brutus line but the hifonics XX line is a lot better than the dei amps... the hercules is much better amp than the 1500d.
