Help Picking 15" Sub!

Im putting a new system in my lexus sc400 and i want to find a good sub. I have been considering a Fi, Tc, RE, sub but i would consider almost any. I want good sound quality but i also want it to get LOUD! Please help me im a total n00b. ive got around $250 to spend but may go a little higher. I was also considering getting one 18 but i dont know if its worth it. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Any help with an amp recommendation for a sub would be greatly appreciated as well. 300

Well 1 15 or like 2 12's i guess. Either way.

id say go with 1 12 inch idmax they sound good and get pretty loud or try and find 2 used and go that way

you may not want to hear it but a Type R 15 is loud and sounds good... atleast to me it did. It is probably the cheapest of your options. Do some research on the FI SSD, that is in your price range as well

Ive looked at FI very seriously and if i was going to get one it would probably be a Q.

Also, i know what subs people say are good I just dont know how to pick one i need someone who has heard them reccommending them to me.
