Help on wiring ohms on amp for subs

Is 1 ohm bad to wire to give an amp cuz if i got 4 ohms thats too much for me then i'd have to get a more powerful amp. i got 2 type-rs planning on running a profile ca1200 2x450rms @2ohms but now that it either 1 or 4 ohms if i go 1 ohm route then if i get ca800 2x300rms @ohms i should be able to get almost 450 rms or at leaster higher than 300?

no profile amp will run at 1ohm and live to see tommorrow.

what impedance are the subs? and are they svc or dvc?

I believe Type Rs are usually in 4ohm DVC format.
