help on slot ported box

ok lets start, ok my dimme. in my car are 38" wide by 15" height & 17 depth. I want to make a slot ported box since I think I'm almost got an idea already., the thing is how long do I make the port & how height & depth ok here's an eg.of enclouser (this will be for 2 hx2 dvc 4omhs rfd-2212) I think came out 4.8 cub. total - .75 of wood included

(2x) 38" by 17" top & bottom

(2x) 38" by 15" back & front parts

(2x) 15" by 17" sides

all made of 3/4 or 19mm mdf,, are this dimm. ok? ur opinion please !!! do they match?

If you add the end of the box the way you have it, the box will be 39.5" long. Instead, either the make the sides 1.5" shorter or the ends 13.5 x 15.5. Take the internal dimensions:

36.5 x 15.5 x 13.5 / 1728 = 4.42

Sub displacement is .07/sub = .14

4.42 - .14 = 4.28

Make a port in between the sub that is 13.5" tall and 1.5" wide. It will be 13.75" long and this will tune it to 28Hz. Let me know if you need a pic.

so the front part for subs will be

2x-18.25"w x 13.5"h and port in between 1.5" = 38" is this correct?

and port 13.5" h x 13.75" long tuned 28hz.
