I have a 1990 SCSB chevy fullsize. We bagged it last winter, and now I'm getting ready to body drop it, and body and paint for the winter. In the interm I have some leftover parts from other builds I had. Scheck it out!

My frontstage is going to be a set of ID CD1E v2 Mini Horns with a 6.5 2ohm mids and the CSX.1 Crossover running off a Directed 300/2. Now I havent decided on a HU but was thinking of going with a used DVD indash unit, not decided on which one. The substage will be pumped though a Memphis Mojo MC2000D. My question for yall is, what the hell should I do for subwoofers??? I was thinking something along the lines of two 10's in a ported box, or two 12's sealed... My question for yall is what can I mount behind the seat of my standard cab truck? Oh, and it goes without saying I want it to slam... lol

HU - DVD, undecided which one

Front Stage Amp - Directed 300/2

Front Stage - ID CD1E Minihorns w/ 2ohm 6.5s in the kicks

Sub Amp - Memphis MC2000D

Subwoofers - ????

how much leg room do you want to keep? if you have the seat all the way back, you'll probably have to go with 8"s or 10"s. maybe some shallow mount 12"s.

your really not going to slam that much in a regular cab without doing a blow through or losing leg room.

Yup, horns in a reg cab truck.

I can lose some legroom, I was thinking two Atomic AP 10's would be ok.

How many inches do you have for mounting depth? My first car was a single cab chevy and I've had everything from one sealed 15" to two sealed 12" to four ported 8."

To be honest, the 15" was the loudest and the first sub that I ever owned (old school Orion XTR).

If you don't have bucket seats I would look into some and get a single 15" firing in the center if you really want to "slam" without cutting the bed.
