Well my misses has a mtx 8510 in a single ported box,well i think she needs an upgrade, i don't wanna have to get a new amp though,so i need either a 12 or 15,probally 12 dual 4 that i can put about 600 rms to @ 2ohm,i'm kinda know my car audio,but i'm perplexed on this one, the amp is a 1000.1 Hitron(whatever that is) and the vehicle is a 03" Hyundai Sante fe, here's a vid of the current set-up.......................... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hokHCFsetTA

that is a decent sub. what you need is a better enclosure with a better amp set properly. i could hear alot of bass boost in that sub when you first started playing it. it also sounded like no subsonic filter...

All probally true,i did not put a lot of tweak to it like mine with a dmm and such,just quik tunin by ear! lol

The sub is one mtxs better subs if use the right enclosure and better amp you will get alot more out of it. If you dont want to replace the amp right now i would suggest have a box built for the woofer.
