Help on custom enclosure for 2001 mustang

so just wondering, did you have to replace your stock system amps when you replaced your HU or were you able to leave it stock

still have my stock amps. i have a turn on pop (stock amps coming on) when the cd player turns on. i need to put a resistor in the remote wire leading to the amps remote wire. i think u use a 1k ohm resister. but my stock amps still power the factory speakers.

or if u wanted to, you could buy a harness made for our cars, it bypasses the factory amps. i started to but i didnt want my comps running off my hu. do a search on here, i know its been discussed before. cant remember who makes it.

if you really stop and think about it and ask your self, Do we buy a mustang for the trunk space or do we buy a mustang to go fast and look good doing it. then again if u stop and think about it.......HE BOUGHT A CONVERTIBLE. now, i have a 2005 mustang hardtop and i dont "go fast" i drive slow. u have the typical mustang owner attitude.

not only do i have a v6, but i think its retarded. id rather be seen than speed by someone....................cant see the girl driving next to u if u pass her up too quick.

good point, but thats when u slow down, and take a second look, if shes ugly u can use the power under your foot to get the hell outta there without being seen by her.

aint nothin wrong with that. i love goin fast, been at 130mph one time, very scary...110-120 couple times. but i look **** good doin it. lowered 1 1/2", white 2000 gt with factory exterior with wing moved back 2.5". my car looks way longer than a stock stang for some reason. looks sweet though.

got any pics of your ride? sounds nice. just got mine not to long ago, so nothing done to it yet, but its white with black convertable. evrything is still stock right now. but hopefuly not for long. What did you use to drop it the 1 1/2"

bosch platnum4 way plugs

bbk x-pipe with cats

dynomax ultra flow catback exhaust

lowered 1 1/2" with eibach pro kit springs

heavy duty rear shocks off of a 89' mustang lx 5.0L
