Help on configuring setup?!?

[Diesel Truck 10+ year member]

My friend has a 12" Alpine Type X, along with a power acoustics 820 Watt Amp.

What would be the proper way to configure this setup to get the most out untill he gets a better amp? Theres a few settings on the back, but we're unsure how to properly make everything right..
