to make long story short cracking in front left speaker started fintly and got worse over 3 weeks time now its doing it louder and basically all the time instead of music coming out i have components all arounf front and back. i replaced all my grounds in car done clean tight with solder and i mean every ground i could including the big 3. now after trying bew rcas and no change i then tried a brand new kenwood excelon kdc-x997 well crackling still there now heres where im lost and about to give up not only is the cracking still there but the radio stoped making sound completely not even the sub makes sound? hows that possible the radio turns on functions right no diming no voltage drop and the time on the radio is going still yet no sounds from sub or mids so now i have two problems. im so lost. im thinking ok this has to be a ground issue somewhere right? cutting out everything completely? but my amps my cap my radio all clean tight connections thick 0 guage wire good quality wire no blown fuses amps nice and cold im so confused i could really use some help if anyone has the time to help me figure this out id really appretiate it alot.
