i just hooked up my e12k.44 dual 4 to my alpine mrd-m500 amp.

i wired it correctly i think

from + on amp i split it to 2 wires, one to each pos. terminal on voice coils.

from - on amp i split it to 2 wires, one to each neg. terminal on voice coils.

isnt this a parallel configuration? shouldnt this drop the load to 2ohms and make the power output 500watts? why am i not getting any sound and so little vibration?

also, wiring from amp to sub is 16ga, might this have anything to do w/ it?

thanks anyway, i found out the problem. one voice coil's teminals was labeled wrong, even though it matched up the picture on the website. works fine now. thanks.
