Help New Subs Now Battery Is Dying!!!

ok...recently replaced some pep boy 10" sub and cheap amp with like a 400 dollar system thats 2 12" and a pretty nice amp...i would say the brands but im not sure...i think dual...but when i had the 10's everything was coo bat was fine never had a problem and i had them for like 2 years...i switched the subs and amp like last week and a few days ago i noticed that the dash lights would dim after i had my sound up high and was like at a red light...then when i got movin or on the freeway the dim light would go back bright...then today this morning i tried to start my car and it was as if it was dead and barely turned over... now im wondering what to do...i dont wanna change my alt cuz its a lexus and im sure it expensive since a tune up was $700....also its pretty much a stock battery (sear's special...lol) and its maybe 2 years old...could it just be my battery is old? do i need one of those yellow top batteries? because my friends have more powerful systems than me and they dont have one of those special deep cycling batteries...thanks in advance for the help...its needed asap...

I have a few questions. What ohms are your subs wired for (4,2,1)? What gauge power cable are you running? If it’s 8 then the first place I’d start is with that, go 4 or 2 gauge. Hope this helps.

he thinks the subs are the dual brand. they are 4 ohm load total.

your alternator cant keep up with the load your placing on it and when this happens the battery is forced to supply power.

ook thanks...i took it to my local auto place and they looked at my bat and checked the voltage and it was a huge drop when i started it up and my bass started...went to 9.5 volts or so...so thats it...plus i got a few tv's so they take up power as well....so yellow or red top battery? which is best?
