OKay... Hooking up subs and amp in truck
Power on amp fine. I believe the problem is the rca outputs on the radio...
I have a car that I tested the amp and speakers in and was fine.
The only difference is the head units. The head unit in the truck was used previously with a different amp and worked fine.
Okay so, the amp is "Alpine - 4/3/2 Channel Plus Subwoofer Drive Power Amp"
The rca inputs are as follow - White on top, red on bottom...
* * *
* * *
Left Top & Bottom = Channel 5 Subwoofer
Middle Top = Channel 3
Middle Bottom = Channel 4
Right Top = Channel 1
Right Bottom = Channel 2
The head unit in my car has a subwoofer output too and is what I used to use channel 5 and worked.
The head unit in the truck only has 1 rca output.
You have to actually put your ear on the sub to tell its getting a little power( in the truck )...
