i was intalling my sub and i decided to be lazy and install the power chord to where the aftermarket radio plugged in,and my radio doesnt turn on, and neither does my amp. 
so i was considering running the power to my amp, then a seperate power source.
any one knowing the problem or suggestions to help my radio turn on will be greatly appreciated.
