Help, need a new system...

I would like to run either 3 12" subs or 2 15" subs, this is for a friend, he wanted rockford or kenwood but i told him I could get better information from here. He drives a Mercedes C230. I'm not sure what to tell him. I suggested 2 15"s because 3 12"s sound like they could create wiring problems. Anyway, he's looking to spend about $750. Any help would be appreciated.

He drives a Benz and he can only chip in $750? Is that for both sub/amp or just subs?
