question - you said upgraded JBL system?

fact is, they will prolly have some crazy freakin crossover and some tweeters in the Apillers or sail panels or somthin.

you might wanna actually find out what you are replacing before you go spending money.

why not...i have bumper to bumper till 2015. 2002 was only 3 years ago, and all cars come with 3 yr/36000, and most likely they upgraded.

that BJ sounds like the best thing to do...then u can worry about replacing the speakers...which once u've bought them won't take too long to install

I almost forgot, Wal-Mart sells factory replacement speakers for like 10bucks, they will sound about the same as the old factorys.

i beg to differ, i have an 01 toyota avalon with the JBL package and those speakers sound **** good, i dont think wal mart $10 speakers will come anywhere close to the jbl system toyota uses. they sound awesome for a stock speaker set up IMO

every on eit seems is try to get u do buy a system....i once had an expensive system and can frackully tell u... buy a pioneer or kenwood coaxial for $50 from an audio shop, let them "reccommed it" in that way if it does not fit or u discover that its not the speakers that are faulty ythey will be happy to take it back as long as u are going to use there service to find and repair the fault
