Help. My door latch no longer works.

Hi. I am no car audio guy. But, took my brand new car to an install place. they put in an amp and new speakers. To put speakers in the front, they had to take the door panel off. Now my door doesnt open from the inside or outside.

How are they going to get the door open to take the panel off?

Also, my interior lights no longer work. What can this be.

And they put the amp in a bad location. How hard is it to move an amp if there is enough wiring?

This was a custom shop? I would definitely complain.

SMH @ techs who don't check functionality after installations.

slimjim. torch, sawzall, diegrinder, cutoff tool. dremel, jaws of life. sledgehammer, Many ways..

But a slimjim type tool operated correctly can grab the door latch lever, and open the door.

But bring that back for a full refund..plus damages..

They fixed the door, got the lights working and moved my amp - no questions asked.
