Help mounting speakers

hey im trying to mount speakers in the factory location but my speakers are BARELY too deep, hitting the window. how should i get it mounted in there? cant i use some kind of mold to heighten the mount, cuz i can go 2 inches outwords, but i only need like a tiny tiny bit of room.

make a spacer using MDF or plastic

so just drill the wood into the car. then the speakers into the wood
