Well, i downloaded some test tones, 30hz-6khz, to try to tune my setup a little more. I put the CD in and played the 30hz tone and not only are the subs moving, but my mids are moving too. Is this supposed to happen? I thought that a good setup should have the subs handling from ~60hz and down, and the mids will kick in at ~60hz and between them and the tweeters, get the rest. Is that right? What do i need to do to fix this, i think this is why my mids (CDT CL-62) sound like crap at high volumes, their trying play something that the can't. Please help!

ok, now i'm confused, i have these dials on the amp... (remember, running to components)

HI PASS

LOW PASS

BASS EQ

LEVEL

Where do these need to be set at (in general). My bass is gettin from 60hz and down.

umm there should be a switch to select EITHER highpass, lowpass, or fullrange.... read your **** manual if you are this lost! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Preciate it alot. I have them backwards. I have my HI Pass off and my LOW PASS at ~60, LEVEL is set right, i think, and my BASS EQ is off.

I'll go change that now.
