Help Me!!!!

Hello All,

I have an Eclipse 3414 HU, Alpine MRP-M350 amp (mono, 350Wx1RMS@ 2ohm, 200Wx1RMS@4ohm, 700W MAX.) I was using that to power 2 cheap California Profile 12's (they were free w/ the amp) But one of the subs blew, and they never sounded real good. My computer sound system, has really good bass and it is really smooth, the 2 12's had no where near the sound quality of my computer sound system, or my home theather system for that matter...

The subs are in a sealed box that has plenty of airspace. Now that one sub has blown I just want new subs... Should I stick with 2 12", or should I go with 1 12", or should I go down to 2 10", or 1 10"???

What subs would compliment this amp the best? (Brand, size etc.) And how should I wire them?

This is kind of an emergency as I can't stand to listen to the system without my BASS!!

I would like to stay under $150 for whatever I get (1 or 2 subs) I know Circuit City usually has 2 for 1 deals so....

P.S. What is SPL and SQ? What should I go for?

SPL = Sound Preasure Level

SQ = Sound Quality

Depends on personal taste.

Just to clarify ^ Sound Pressure Level is a fancy word for loudness. You could try a Adire Shiva, $125 and it will beat the pants off of any BB/CC gear.(IMO)
