Right now i have a Type X 12' being powered by a JL 500/1

in a ported box that is claimed to get the most from that sub.

I think it gets plently loud but, i feel like i want something with better SQ but can still crank when you need it, i don't need it as loud as the X would get.i sold my sub to my brother because i needed money now im back on the market.

I was thinking getting a 12w6v2 in a sealed box w/ another Jl 500/1.

what do you guys think?

the type x is a pretty musical sub. i dont know if you would hear much a different. but the image dynamics woofers seem to be pretty popular for a SQ application.
