im STILL on the hunt for a HO alt for my 07 Accent GLS. Is EA ok to deal with?

I need a good alt that does the job for sure. I NEED to find one that fits the car!

Iraggi, Ohio Generator, Excessive Amperage, Mean Green, Mechman...

The list goes on.

If you keep the stock alt, and for whatever reason need to take the car in for service, throw the alt back in.

X2. Just keep the original one for whenever you need to take the car in for service or repair. As long as it is easy to get to shouldn't take but a few minutes to change.

My personal preference would be mechman, ohio generator, or HO alternators for reliability i've had too many issues with import alternators.

My top choice would be Stinger or Mean-Green.

Next would be H-O Alternators or Powermaster.

Well I think I found out what my stock alternator is.

i actually don't know wether or not an alt will void the warrenty. supposedly it's if you modify something with the engine or affects the engine or the tansmission.

you'd have to call a dealership or a warrenty service and ask a question like that.

they may not void it if it's installed by a dealership/technician that is certified for your vehicle.

Yes, it would most definatly void a warrenty. Why would a company want to pay for your modification to their " Perfect " idea of what the car should have and not have.

I asked Nissan, and the service adviser said the warranty I bought would still be good, they just obviously wouldn't cover the part or anything that happens to the car because if it malfunctions. I think it's like adding any other aftermarket part. Could be wrong

Just save your old alt. and put it back on if you take it to the garage. What I do with the Subaru.
