On a Mission from God
Yep, a minivan with sweet sound. Before I get made fun of, I got a great deal on a low mileage Caravan and it's the perfect car for moving brewing equipment, P.A. speakers and drumsets.
I had a Windstar with Pioneer 6x8's in the front and back, Pioneer Deh-1400 (alledegly 45 watts x4) with a 8" powered Bazooka Tube and it didn't sound terrible, but I know I can do better. I also just found a 2 channel Nitro bridgeable 800 watt amp in my garage.
I've got 6x9's in the front and back and 5 1/4" on the dash of the new vehicle.
My goals are:
*Use speakers that fit my car and are are amazing quality
*Use my stereo (since I've got two of them)
*Have moderately volume music sound clear, rich and full of bass (like being at a concert)
*I want to hear/feel the bass but not in an absurd way
I've also have some questions:
*Should I use an additional amp to run the 4 6x9's? Is it worth the price?
*Should I use my powered woofer or is it pathetic?
*Can you run an amp and the powered woofer at the same time?
Thanks!
