Help me understand this battery.

For my battery, I had a guy work on my system and when he unscrewed the terminal off of the battery, the battery turned off(when it reconnected, everything was reset).

I don't understand what made the battery to turn off? Really all that was removed was the nut.

Why would the battery not work if the only thing removed was the wire terminal? The wire was for an amp.

I don't know about that, but from the pic it looks like the stock terminal was taken off too

What is the stock terminal?

The only one I see is the one that came with the wires.

I mean everything that connects to the batt except for the power wire for your amp.

The only thing taken off was the power wire terminal and nut.

Maybe i'm seeing something wrong then. But it looks like everything was taken off the positive terminal on the batt. That's the only reason everything would have been reset and such..

The only difference is the terminal and nut. I saw him just get a drill and take off the positive nut.

I have no idea man. What kind of terminal is that to the left of where the nut is? How's that attached to the batt?

Factory battery in a 2012 Ford Focus SEL.

I've looked everywhere online. Next thing to do is go to the dealership.

Everything turned on fine though after you put the nut back on, right?
