I'm thinking about getting an alpine mrx-m110 amp but I'm pretty sure I'm going to need at least 2 gauge wire and the minimum gauge supported is 4 gauge... could I get away with using 2 gauge? Or could I just use 4 gauge with the amount of power and length I need? I'm going to be running 2 Sa8v2s at 2 ohms and I'm going to need about 12-14 feet of it. What should I do?

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.
