Help me spend my money

Okay guys, I've been searching the threads and the opinions are overwhelming. So here it is, I've got a Honda Pilot and $1,000. I've already got a 2 channel amp from Elemental Designs. Door speakers are 6.5". I plan on running the rear speakers off of the stock HU (no need to suggest an aftermarket HU) and the fronts off of the ED amp. The goal is a good SQ system w/ some SPL. I don't want to be heard from blocks away, but I do want to feel it in the car. Right now I'm leaning towards a single 10" or 12" JL w6 just because it's so sexy and I've heard nothing but good about them. After reading more posts it sounds like the w6 is overpriced? I don't want to pay the price just to say I've got some bling JL sub. Any other suggestions?

w6v2 is my favorite SQ woofer and it has some punch behind it!! a 12 would be sweet!!

Well, I was torn between a 12" w6 or a 12" RL-P. After a comment like this how can I not get the JL. Thanks for the advice.

An rlp is way cheaper than a W6, rlp will be a great choice

for 1000, you could get a w6v2 (i have one and i LOVE it) for ~200 + shipping in the classifieds, if you wanna stay /w ed, get a nine.1, 350+ shipping new from eD, or look around in forums, could get them for a lot less, and for speakers, slc's from 6spdcoupe, and 880 for headunit

200 + shipping for sub

350 + shipping for amp

~230 shipped for slcs

~300 for an 880

~100 for wood and wiring etc

slightly above your budget, but if you look around, you can get it for a bit less, hope that helps
