And don't go cashing it at some casino or pawn shop. If it's fake, you'll just end up screwing some innocent person or getting someone fired for cashing a fake check. Won't do anything to him at all.

Does anyone else find it wierd that the check is on regular printer paper?

just take the check and throw it in the middle of a city street and let some other greedy fool mess with it. That way you can just imagine what type of things happened without you being the one to get in trouble

i know it's illegal if it's fake, but if you could get away with it, that's $4500. just spend it in a fashion that would be worth doing time for. AKA hookers and 8 balls.

Its probably one of those craigslist scammers that offer u 10x more than wat ur asking and ask u to send the money back, he probably gave them his address..

Actually take it to a bank an see if the check is real, who could be just trying to get into your bank account.. Heres my lil story for u guys

Cousin gets a check from Toyota Of Canada.... well it says to make sure and DEPOSIT the check into his account and please dont cash. Well I took it into the bank, the check was REAL. I signed it with his name " a random bank and there are a lot of his name in the world". The check was for 2000 dollars, well they took my info. A few days later the bank calls....uhoh... the check bounced and they needed to verify I cashed it... LOL we ended up giving back 1200 on our OWN.

ugh. RE XXX is right, which is why i didn't go out and spend it. I know this is a scam. What i'm trying to do is get you guys to help me figure out a way to get into this guys' account so i can get some money, or order shit online. Know any places that take a account number and routing number as a check and form of payment?
