Help me please!!! :l

Use paperclips. You dont actually need a tool to remove it. It is just a clip on the inside that has to be pushed aside. My first car was a probe and that was what I did to remove mine
Yea, that works as well if you are handy with tools. I have used everything from small allen wrenches to screw drivers over the years lol. All that needs to happen is to be able to push over the locking tab.

That thing pissed me off so bad to begin with. I didn't know about it and my family was poor growing up so we didn't have internet for me to look anywhere. Those holes are so small, they're hard to see.

After that, you have wires, sub(s), amplifier, and enclosure to purchase and install.
Can you link me to good products for all these?

I have about 300 left in the budget after the radio/speakers

I'm so confused //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

This **** is so hard to understand!

What're essential besides the radio, the speakers, and the subs

I recomend you spend slightly more on your Head Unit (radio). Spend about a little more you will need a HU with subwoofer pre-outs. Also, do you ever think you would want to add an amp to your speakers? If so you would need a radio with subwoofer pre-outs and front pre-outs.... But if you only want a sub i like this HU. Whatever radio you end up getting order it off cruthfield. great prices and They give free installation gear Alpine CDE-110 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Oh and if you want to get loud and have clarity these pre-fab (already made boxes not built to specs of sub) boxes wont cut it.
The Kenwood won't? Give me a good one that will. As long as it works with my price range: 500$

I have 500 for everything and need be I can prob go a little over but I really don't want too!
