it is a very common problem and not worth fixing.
just pull it out and get a new sub that is better

Kicker has not made a good sub for many years.

maybe the X if all ya wanna do is burp it but other than that nope...

This is incorrect info.
The Solo-X is a very musical sub and can get extra loud down low.

I am not a former kicker dealer for nothing...I know what they make that is good and what is not...

the X plays music better than the L series but it is still a junk sub with garbage suspension...

any number of other subs out there will trash an X and not cost 1/2 as much ...

that is a pix of a 18" sub and that can be fixed.

remove the dust cap shim the coil, fill the first roll of the spider with ca let it soak in for a min then spray.

next puddle 5 min epoxy around the former ontop of the cone...

you need to take it out and atleast look at it bro

oh oh yeah before getting all hyped up. but if it is that couldent i just glue it back to the coil sence ther is no recone kit for the 15". and or making it in to a round sub if all else fails

its possible, but it will most likely just come apart again.

Honestly man, look into a higher quality driver. Kickers aren't all that great.
