Well none of those are common problems, they are problems associated with abuse and/or poor maintenance. The 4.3 Vortec is a hell of a motor.

Lower intake gaskets, spiders/fuel regulators/fuel lines inside intake (93-95 w code), fuel pumps, gummed up egr vavles... The trannys (4l60e) arent exactly the best either..

I've owned a few blazer, they arent maintance free, but if you keep up on maintance they arent too bad...

My sister has a 95 explorer thats has 270,000 miles on it, other than oil changes, brakes, tires, ect its been super reliable... I wouldnt be afraid to drive it across country!

i love my tahoe. its a 98 but still is bulletproof. i have 125,000 miles and it still starts and runs like a champ. anything with a 350 is a good pick imo.

idk shit about cars other than 350 parts are cheap as hell and a dime a dozen. i just dont like the look of midsize SUV's. dropped midsize piss me off. nice rims with minimal wheel gap are pimpin as hell. trucks should be slammed midsize suvs should stay high imo. but i appreciate the work people put into vehicles so i cant knock the blazers posted in this thread.

thats what i said when i got it
My old blazer had a strong 4.3 vortec in it. I spanked many a full size truck owner I knew that were running V8's. It was 4wd and would easily bark all 4 tires out of the hole. Easily. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Id like to find another vortec to drop in my latest blazer. The current 4.3 (non vortec) is still pretty strong, but nothing like the vortec. It drank gas like a V8 tho too.

Its a buyers market I wouldn't pay anything to ****ing ridiculous. Not sure if those are actual prices in the poll, but those are way to ****ing high:crap:
Interesting...........

Last year when I was car shopping I was peeping the Blazers and Exploders and Most were in the upper teens and low 20's with 30k and under on them.

Now I have recently started to look again due to the baby in the oven and need 3 row seating and I have found many of the same rides at the same mileage and even lower for right around 10k and some even at 9, which is uber cheap. I don't know how that is high. To me, that is many thousands lower, lol!

I paid $400 for my blazer iirc.

Im on the fence.

BTW, I have about $5000 total in the blazer now, including the original price, and $3k for rims/tires. A little money can go a long way when you do the work yourself.

Pure ***.....................minus the tail lights. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif Actually the taillights look pretty good in person. The body color really sets them off (light yellow).

Funny story. A few years ago, after I had recently built this littl blazer and then drove it home to California, I took it to the grocery store one day. Upon leaving the store and walking up to the truck, a middle aged woman approached me and said she'd seen my vehicle when she came out of the store, liked it, and decided to wait for the owner to arrive so she could ask what model it was. She thought it was a new model vehicle that had just hit the streets, and she wanted to buy one too. Was hilarious seeing the look on her face when I informed her it was a 1989.
