help me pick out an sq/slp sub and amp?

hey guys, im new here and im getting to purchase speakers/subs for my car. A little background of the car. Its a 2002 pontiac ***** am. I already have a pretty good cd player that puts out 5 volts preout and have sub control. My comps and coaxial, i was bout to get morel tempo6, but I can get a set of hertz hsk165xl for an awesome price. the amp for my comps and mids, im going to run an alpine pdx-f4. Now i need help choosing sub/amp combo. My goal is to have mixture of sq/spl but leaning towards sq, and also want to keep my t-top holders, so max i could do is 1 10 sub. My original plan was to get the jl stealthbox with the 1 10 w3 but i know theres better out there. If i have to do a custom fiberglass box then thats ok. What u guys suggest. heres the list so far what im getting:

Headunit: kenwood kdc-x891

Front comp set: Hertz hsk165xl

rear coaxial: hertz hck 165

4 channel amp: alpine pdx-f4

subs: ?

sub amp: ?

your 1.5 hours north of me ,how about a dc 2.0 and a dc xl 10.it will still leave room if you wanna upgrade woofers later

Id grab another Alpine PDX amp so you can stack them and save some space.

As for sub depends on your budget. Dayton HF or HO series, Image Dynamics ID or IDQ series, FI Q, there are tons of options.

you can do 2 10's one each side. 1 10'' was enough for me in my t/a though.

my original plan for the sub is the jlstealthbox for camaro with the alpine pdx-m6, but there so much options to choose. I just want to know how well the jl stacks up with other like idq,s re audio, etc

I used a stealth box that goes in the drivers side. I had a single 10'' jl W6 on 600rms. I'm also a sq guy though, I'm not a big fan of overbearing bass.

this was a while ago, it was made by local shop. I loved how it sounded it was loud enough for me and sounded great. This was the 2nd version of the w6 though not the newest one. The newest one is nice as well though.
