hey i am looking for a new sub 12inch. It will be going in an Acura Integra

I was looking around the forums for sq/sql subs and got a few names

1.diamond d9

2. si mags

3.idmax

4.idq

5.Soundsplinter rlp

6 fiq

7. any others?

any ideas on these subs or recommend any others? my budget is pretty much up in the air im willing to pay for quality.

Out of the ones you listed there, I'd give the SI Mag and IDMAX the nod...not saying the others are bad, but if you've got that budget why not use it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

lol u got a really wide range of prices there. Heard the PG RSD is suppose to be pretty good as well.
eh...

x2

a 12 idq will give you the sq, but don't expect too much output. Go w/ a 15"

i haven't the others on the list.

my only concern with a 15 inch sub is that i wont have room for it.

The car is an Acura Integra.

Im looking for mainly sq but i would like sub output

so what do you guys think 15 or 12?

i am looking at street prices not retail so around 350 is the max id pay for a sub

the consensus i ve reached from researching is

simags

fiq

idmax

diamond d9

also i asume sealed enclosure would be best for a sq/sql sub but i guess ill worry about that after i choose a sub

if the price differnece isnt huge id get new.

its hard to choose a sub just based on others opinions

theres no way of me hearing these subs in boston

of all the subs which be reccomended?

this is so frustrating ive been researching for like 3days straight non stop

I have had a few of those RLP 15 a while ago and new Mag now. My Ported Mag 12 has more output than my sealed RLP 15 off of the same power. Both sounded really good. If you have less than 8-900 watts and want to save a litle I would go with RLP, but if you want quality and it isnt about money go with the mag, you wont be disappointed.

I bought mine from Forum, new, never seen power for less than 350.00
