Love titanium/aluminum which I have stock I want to swap with something that would be cleaner and wider suond wise all suggestions appreciated what I'm replacing now is decent just not as crisp as I like I know most will not Like this but I hate warm tweeters a lot

The tweeters I use are CDT HD-1A/BL. These have a housing designed to spread out the sound, and they are aluminum. CDT's titanium tweeter is DRT-26T. For me the aluminum is just right.

Thanks and finally I'm not alone someone who else prefers a non silk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I like metal domes when they are done right. Like the jbl ms62c.
You know I almost ordered those it was really close between them and p660c I wanted the msc but the p660c just had more of what I was looking for besides a textile tweeter. I've heard the msc sound dam good though.

I don't care about money I just want something that's a guarantee better than stock.

What do you think of these,

Sound stream Twt.6t

Jl audio zr100-ct

Pioneer ts-t110

Clarion srg213h

i'd get the CDT drt 26 tweeters or the JL zr100-ct.

Hertz offers nice tweeters at different price points. I used a set of Mille ML 280's in my car for a while. Really good sounding tweeter, very detailed. I ultimately went with a set of Scan-Speak ring radiator tweeters for their smoother sound.

You can get CDT DRT-26A by ordering from our dealer direct store and writing us a note that you want aluminum instead of silk. This kit comes with several mounting options. The tweeter I'm currently using is HD-1A/BL, and your only choices are to flush mount them or make your own pods.
I'd love that but $200 is a little high for me what about the es-20 ***** they don't come in aluminum but ey look nice.

Dam that looks like a sick tweeter I love it and matches my car flawlessly but wow $400 for a set that's three car payments for me lol.

Dam if I knew spending $200 or more was a guarantee improvement I'd pull the trigger but I'm not sure what level of quality my stock tweets are and what the Improvement would be. What I do like about the stock ones is it sounds more like alive instead of adding highs on top of mid bass it's more blended like becomes part of the music if that makes sense which I want to keep just cleaner and louder would be great

Since they just went with the 3rd version of this tweeter, the version I had can now be had for a lot less. Thing is finding a set of the older ones. I think $250 was what I was quoted a little while back. It was going to be ordered directly from Audison through my local dealer. I was going to install a set in my daughter's car. I ended up giving her the Audison Voce components I had instead.

If you like the metal domes, take a look on eBay at Kicker Tweeters. Many years ago I ran some of their Resolution titanium tweeters...look for nd22 or r22. Some will come with their own crossovers too. They can be had for cheap at times.

Madisound & parts express is a great place to shop as mentioned. I picked up my scans from there. You can get good gear for good prices.
