help me pick a 8in sub

I wont to do a set up with 4 ported 8's in the trunk of my 2000 mustang I have a 1000 wat amp and dont know what sub to use it is betwine thes two the Digital Designs 8 or the sound splinte Rli 8 the dd 8's will be $40 chiper I can get a 3.5cf box in ther with no problem and will the 4 8's be close in out put to my 2002 L7 10's and I did search and found out that you shuld //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bowdown.gif.b85b23b82970bd22fb6b549c3392f016.gif to both of them

i have heard great things about the dd 8". that is a cool looking piece in person. dd is very well built stuff as well, all in the US. i am going to be getting some in the near future.

I dont wont kicker the past 4 set up's I have had have ben kicker wont to try somthing diferent what about the AudioQue LW8 arnt they the same as the dd 8's and cost less and so far no one for the rli 8

btw im pretty sure the cones and baskets are different cuz my HD12 has a white logo and 4spoke basket like the rlp

are you talking abought the AudioQue LW10 or 12 last time I looked dd did not have a 2508 and if you are that is bad *** that the bottom line aq is better then the bottom line dd so it looks like the AudioQue LW8 is in the leed

well i was talking about the dustcap and baskets cuz the pics on the website are old, and my hd has a different cone and basket so im guessing the lw series also has diff logos on the dustcap and baskets

The new basket on the HD series provides 1/2" additional throw. The logos have been changed and suspension has been tweaked for the extra throw. The LW-8 keeps the original basket and has the new logo.

We are in the process of bringing out a new "middle line" of subs (600rms) and the HD18. We will update the site at that time.
