need a new HU looking for SQ ..... only amp i will be running is for my subs, so i need a good HU that puts out some power for my door speakers, my price range is $200-$300 is was thinking the Panasonic CQ-C9901U or the alpine 9835....... anything else i should be looking at

I have a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB, it has aux in, three RCA out (front, rear, and sub), and I think puts 25 RMS @ 4-ohm.

It was $200-something IIRC.

I recommend it.

But if you're willing to spend $300 and never want to upgrade, I say get an Alpine 9887. It isn't the best ever made, but a lot of members on this forum use it and love it.

hmmmm yes, but i think im leaning toward the panasonic 31W x 4 rms seems nice and i like the display

I think the Alpines have good SQ. For ultimate SQ, you should get the 9887 for like $100 more.

because alot of people around here seem to recommend shit they have never heard, but have just heard of...... you aint gotta get all aggressive n shit, but thanx i'll look into that model
