help me out

hey guys.. friend is having sub problems. he has two comp VR 10s in a small truck box paired to a 600 watt cousitc 2 channel..

yesterday the subs were working fine according to him, then this morning they were kinda quiet and now they are barely audible but he says he can still feel them moving. gain is at a quarter bass boost is under a quarter, LPF is at like 95 hz.. i havent seen him today to check it out for him yet.. but according to him all of the settings are about where they have been.

i remember hearing situations like this before.. and couldnt remember if blown subs ended up being the answer. i hope not for his sake but please shine some light on the situation for me guys. thanks

why is the LPF at 95Hz? id play with that for one and see...cuz thats alot of range for a sub to cover imo

all i had to do was re set the gain for him and give him a little bass boost.. no big deal it sounds good now. zeroz i set the low pass a little lower at around 85. glad his shit wasnt blown cause i set all of his settings before so that they wouldnt blow so i wouldnt felt responsible.. turns out his girl was messin with knobs on the amp. haha that girl wouldve been kicked to the curb if she messed with my amp.
