I've been in and out of car audio for a year or so, and this is one of the main forums where I learned a decent amount of info. I'm still a newbie, but I'd like to think I'm know something about car audio
Anywho, onto the real subject. My old system as follows(still in the other car, I need to sell that car)
Alpine 9807
Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 60.5cs, Component Speaker System
Rear Speakers: Infinity Kappa 652.5i,2-Way Speaker
Sub: Elemental Designs e12O.44
Box: Custom e12O.44 Specs
Amp: Phoenix Gold 5.0:1
Now, I'm thinking of keeping the headunit for the new car and keeping the speakers in the old car. I think it's to much of a hassle to take out and put in my new car. I think I'm going to sell the amp/sub/box. It's quite heavy and I don't want the extra weight in my car.
New setup
Alpine 9807(suits me well, or might sell)
Front speakers: ???
Rear Speakers: None(or just stock)
Sub: ? (looking for little bit of sq/spl)(not entering and comp's)
Amp: ?
As for sub and amp, I'd really like a custom inclosure. I also want it to be as light as possible. I was thinking to put it in the spare tire area. What sub would you suggest? Now, I'm not going to get anything in the near future. I just want to have a headups up so I can read about all of the suggestions.
I really enjoyed my old setup, but I know I can do better.
Price doesn't really matter to me. I don't want it to be INSANELY high priced. I'll pay good money for good products though. I'll probably purchase the speakers 1-2months.
