wrong..........12"s do not hit lower than 10"s. its probably a tuning issue with the boxes you've had

probably... i'll admit that i don't know much at all about car audio stuff. what is "tuning" anyways? can somebody link some info on this...?

i was actually doing some research on the cerwin vegas. those look good! and from a lot of reviews, the SQ of those subs are excellent for the money. i might go with those.

what do you guys think about the Profile AP2000? It's pretty good for the price. And from research, it's the best budget amp. It would be more than enough to power the CV's... and it's pretty good on the price.

I recommended the CV's because I got the opportunity to listen to a single 12 install a while back and I was quite impressed. For the money, I categorize them as a great buy.

As for the amp, here's another possibility: Blau VA1400. It'll do 600w rms at 2 ohms. Head on over to http://www.diymobileaudio.com and search the forum for "velocity". Some good reviews on them.
