i need to put a lower line alpine unit in a newer Acura RSX..

i have never installed one though (cept in my old *** blazer), so any tips on how to take apart the dash, and should he get the dash kit and wiring harness from crutchfield?

thanks for any tips...im getting paid $100 for this so i can come spend some money on peoples FS threads

what kind of opening is it? if its single din, you shouldnt need a receiver kit. as for the dash, be as careful as possible when pulling/prying on shit....remember, its not your car...

Spend $5 of your own money at Crutchfield and buy, then download, the MasterSheets for that specific vehicle so you'll know exactly how it comes apart.

This way you don't end up with screw holes that no longer line up, plastic pressure clips with broken tabs, etc.

Somebody is actually paying you $100 for installing a head unit? Even the stereo shops around here don't charge more than $80 or so and they are overpriced at that.
