help me help a friend

So i have a friend who drives a tiny *** Chevy s10, but he wants subs. There is little room behind his seats for them. Any help here? i was thinking 8" subs since its small, and the cab is so small he wont be pushing a **** ton for his needs, he listens to everything so a nice diverse sub would be nice
