help me fix my plate amp.

i have a polk psw303 sub. i swapped my ed 9kv.2 into it to compare it to the polk sub. well like a dumbass when i was putting the polk sub back in i didnt unplug it and the + & - leads touched. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

the fuse in it blew. so i ordered some new ones exactly the same and now as soon as i plug it in it pops the fuse, even if the amp is turned off. i dont want to send it in to polk as they would probably charge way to much to fix it. i could post pics if it would help.

Sounds like something in the output is cooked... Have you looked for shorts or measured the impedance in the transistors?

ok ill take some pics today. no, i havent measured anything because i dont know where to start at.
